Update (9/25/2020): Although we loved the rustic look of the pipes and faucets in the 2nd bathroom, they were a little tricky for our guests so we just completed the install of new showers/tubs in both (1st & 2nd) bathrooms. We also just put flagstone on the front & back porch. The Taylor's Whispering Pines is in the piney woods of East Texas in the gated resort community of Holly Lake Ranch. The cabin is located a secluded lot that is only two long blocks from the amenities of Holly Lake Ranch including the lake, park, courts, putt putt, hiking trail and much more. This beautifully decorated rustic, yet modern, log cabin is perfect for families or couples are looking for a romantic get-away. From the moment you enter the door, you will be encompassed with a feeling of welcome and relaxation. This unique log cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. With 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and a pull out double bed sofa and a full mattress stored in a closet, the cabin can sleep 9 comfortably. 9 guests is our maximum and there is parking for up to 5 cars. MAINHOUSE SLEEPS 6 for $225/weekday and $275/weekend (your request will be for this) BUNKHOUSE SLEEPS additional 10 for $125/night (additional payment after reservation is booked) Magnolia Pines is a beautiful industrial farmhouse home located inside the quiet, gated, retirement community of Holly Lake Ranch. It has everything you need to sleep 6 up to 15 in comfy beds. Our main house is a 2 bedroom/2 bath that sleeps 6. The bunkhouse is a separate garage apartment that is a 3 bedroom/1.5 bath that sleeps 10 (an add on of $125/night that will be charged after you book). For your convenience you can rent the main house or both structures. Since the bunkhouse does not have a kitchen we do not rent it on its own. You can cuddle up and stay inside all weekend or venture out into the piney woods of East Texas and enjoy the numerous community amenities that Holly Lake Ranch has to offer. Our home is conveniently located just a block away from paddleboats, fishing, swimming pool, tennis, pickle ball, playground, walking trail, frisbee golf, putt putt golf, and a small sandy beach area to play in the lake. This is not the place for a party weekend :) Our main house has the living room with a tv, fully stocked kitchen, king master bedroom with full bath, and separate bedroom with 2 queens and a full bath. The Bunkhouse has a living area with tv, queen bedroom, and a full bath downstairs. The upstairs of the Bunkhouse has a king bedroom, bunk room with six twin beds, and a half bath. All lines and towels are provided. In addition to comfortable furnishings, our house offers two outside eating areas, fire pit with chairs, covered back porch, and a fenced in back yard with tall trees and room to kick or throw a ball around! Please be aware: if you attempt to check-in under any other name, guest services will not be able to find you in their system. This is because we are the owners of this timeshare deed and cannot allow anyone else to use our cabin without first personally checking-in. Otherwise, our guests will be turned away. We will have the unit available by 5pm. If you plan to get there early, please let me know. We can meet at a designated location on the property and I'll be holding a sign with your name on it. If you plan to arrive much later, I will send you a message with all the details (cabin #, gate code, and where I left the key). There is a private picnic table and grill in the front yard. There are two lakes out of five in the area that are on the property (and some friendly deer occasionally). If you choose to come earlier than the check-in time to enjoy our many amenities, please coordinate with me so I can hand out pool passes and such that are required while on the property. Birdie’s Place is a picturesque 1930’s farm house tucked away in the country just north of Tyler and east of Lindale. This 900 square ft. farmhouse has two bedrooms and one bath. Great 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo, 1400 SF. Located in peaceful Holly Lake Ranch. All Ranch amenities are available for guests. Lots of deer with their fawns roam the golf course and neighborhood. Enjoy a large patio deck with gas grill and great view of the golf course. Swimming, paddle boating, fishing, putt putt, frisbee golf, tennis, volleyball are among some of the activities. The ranch has two lakes to fish. Great fishing lakes are also a short distance from the ranch, such as, Lake Fork (30 Min. drive). The condo has a king bed with master bath down stairs. The full murphy bed is located in the upstairs loft, and a queen bed in the bedroom upstairs with a bathroom. The Living room has a queen sleeper sofa. Cable TV and Wifi are provided.
